Prize money increase and no food chips
As of this week the Frisco Bar which runs AHL Poker on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday will be shaking it up a bit!
Monday & Tuesday: 3 & 5pm
$20 Gift card for 3pm session and $25 CASH for 5pm with $20GC for 2nd!
Thursday & Friday: 3 & 5pm
$20 GC for 3pm sessions and $50.00 CASH for 5pm!
All players will have a starting stack of 10,000 with an additional 5000 if you know the AHL weekly password (link can be found in all daily AHL posts).
This is a test to say how players support the venue without the food bonus chips or a ticket system. As you can see not only did we stop the bonus chips but we have also increased the prize money two days per week to allow us to compare the numbers.
We received a lot of feedback on the food chips issue and this is a chance for everyone to support a venue without them. If results are good you will begin to see the bonus chip system fade away altogether.
