Bigger and Better 
AHL Poker is making a few changes to our chip structure to make our tournament more efficient.
The new improved AHL chip structure:
-4,000 Chip starting stack (2-1,000, 2-500, 8-100 & 8-25 chips)
-10,000 Bonus chips (1-10,000 chip)
-5,000 Email bonuses (5-1,000 chips)
Full starting stack of 19,000 total chips!
AHL Poker will no longer practice the following:
-Password Chips
-Early Chips
*AHL Rule Change: Docking late players:
AHL will no longer dock late players a set amount per blind level missed. Instead for any table with 5 players or more a starting chip stack of 4000 will now be placed at all empty seats at any table with 5 players or more. These will be dealt to and blinded out in normal rotation. These seats/stacks will be filled by all late arrivals. Players will pass the deal to the left as usual skipping any seat that isn’t occupied. In the event a host has to break down a table before the first break he/she will pull the unused chip stacks and set them to the side. These stacks will be given to any late players that arrive before break.
This chip stack structure will offer a larger starting stack with fewer actual chips making it easy for everyone to receive their chips in a timely manner and allow the game to run more efficiently overall. It will also reduce cheating and altering of stacks as it will be easier to calculate what players have in their chip stacks.
